Namastè

I honor the place in you
in which the entire universe dwells.
I honor the place in you
which is of love, of truth, of light, and of peace.
I honor the place in you where,
if you are in that place in you,
and I am in that place in me,
there is only one of us.

Culture-gasm!!!

"Nah, Hooking up is such a communist notion. Think about it, you're giving it up for free and giving everybody equal access but you're not really seeing the benefits of it. That kinda sounds like a poor way to live..." lOl. Sometimes I don't know where I come up with this stuff. = P

7 Scientific Reasons a Zombie Outbreak Would Fail (Quickly)

By David Dietle Aug 17, 2010

Let's pretend for a moment that zombies are real (as if half of you weren't already daydreaming about that very thing). Have you noticed how most zombie movies take place only after the apocalypse is in full-swing? By the time we join our survivors, the military and government are already wiped out, and none of the streets are safe.
There's a reason the movie starts there, and not earlier. It's because the early part, where we go from one zombie to millions, doesn't make any sense. If you let the creeping buzzkill of logic into the zombie party, you realize the zombies would all be re-dead long before you even got a chance to fire up that chainsaw motorcycle you've been working on. Why?

So, You do the Math...

“A quality education has the power to transform societies in a single generation, provide children with the protection they need from the hazards of poverty, labor exploitation and disease, and given them the knowledge, skills, and confidence to reach their full potential.” ~ Audrey Hepburn

So take from this information what you will.  One thing that I noticed right off the bat was that when I went to Google Images for the search term quality education, there weren't any US colleges branded in the top hits.  Also under the web section for this term, the first sites to come up were for home schooling and for educational programs abroad... which I believe speaks volumes about the American education system and where it's priorities lie.  It also speaks volumes about our distorted view of economics....

The art of the perfect prank

Jeremy Beadle's pranks were a huge TV hit in the UK

As April Fools jokers hatch their plans, what's the secret to a perfect prank, asks broadcaster Toby Amies. And how far do the very best tricksters go in preparing their practical jokes?

This article is not a hoax. I promise you. It's a serious work about the practical joke.

How far would you go to pull off a prank? The dole queue? In 1987, a young British broadcaster called Chris Morris let off helium into the BBC Bristol studio, causing the newsreader's stories to reach a higher and higher pitch. Chris lost his job. And started his career in satire.

Would you risk prison? Pranks are often protests, against unfairness or authority or reality. And protest is increasingly risky in the 21st Century.

As the film director Billy Wilder said: "If you are going to tell people the truth, be funny or they will kill you."
